Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® of Illinois
We are the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® (CVMA®), an association of combat veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who share a common passion for riding motorcycles and serving those who served.
For many of us, the road is more than a place to ride, it’s a place to clear our heads and find balance. The open highway, and the company of other veterans create a kind of peace that’s hard to find anywhere else. Riding gives us space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect, a reminder that the road itself can be part of the healing.
As a registered 501(c)(3) veterans’ charity, our mission is simple: to support and protect those who have defended our country and our freedoms. We focus on helping individual veterans, veteran care facilities, other veteran organizations, and registered charities through direct assistance, fundraising, and active participation in veteran-related events across the nation.
We are an Association — not a Motorcycle Club (MC). We do not claim territory or operate clubhouses. Our patch is a single piece, worn on a vest, and represents service, brotherhood, and respect, not territory or dominance.
Our membership includes:
- Full Members – Those with verified combat service.
- Support Members – Veterans with non-combat service who share our dedication to helping all who served.
- Auxiliary Members – The spouses of our Full and Support members, whose strength and commitment are integral to our mission.
